I'm serious please look at 2019 madison county they have games on YouTube.  And hudl talent wise they matchup with anyone in Florida except img academy. I understand that madison did not play Lincoln or Niceville who gave Edgewater everything.  But they beat crestview who beat Lincoln badly and lost to Niceville close.  Lakewood almost beat booker t Washington that season.  Madison lost to lakewood in over time. Crestview head coach said madison was second best team they played.  Madison was loaded big on the offensive line and deep at running back. 2 great recivers and a very great defense.  2019 madison was very special.  42 points per game. Best offensive team in Florida.

I'm going to go with Pine Forest, primarily because I know little about them and figure they may be better than any of us realize. But I don't give them much of a chance.
TBT's win over Lake Gibson was diminished some when I realized after the fact that LG played without Jevonte McClendon. He was a key part of their secondary, and could have made the difference in stopping the QB runs for TBT. LG also was without McClendon vs. Lowndes, which was the only other game LG got run on consistently. They had McClendon for both Lakeland games and Edgewater. IMO, the best Tech can do is what Edgewater did the last couple of years: lose but be competitive in the process.
Merrit Island is terribly outmanned and has no business being on the field with Central.

The first departure was an opportunity to coach at a big name program, Valdosta. He left in good standing which is why he was immediately rehired after he and the Wildcats parted ways.
I think that his second departure was a combination of getting that itch, and the fact that Apopka had not made a deep run in the recent past leading up to his departure. It did not hurt that the Enterprise job paid a lot more than any Florida public school did.
As I understand it, the Apopka coaching job is not currently open, so coming back to the Darters was not a current option. Also, perhaps, he just wants to see what he could do with a program like Deland. There is decent talent in the zone, but their coaching situation has been relatively unstable over the last 20 years. If he can keep the talent home, they could make the playoffs with some frequency.

If you lose 91-0 maybe football isn’t for you. No one should try and make excuses. Taravella doesn’t need to playing 11 man varsity football if they are that horrendous at it. That’s the problem. They let anyone play. Teams losing by 50-90 points have no business fielding a team. 

District runner up system put a 1-9 Eastside team in with a 8-2 Miami Central team missing the playoffs after winning the previous 4 state titles and both losses coming to teams ranked top 10 in the state but sure perfect system to a blind man

Mathematician here.  There are many different ways to calculate RPI.  The most elaborate ones involve using sophisticated statistical analysis and stat databases programmed in the R language.  Others could be as simple as someone's homegrown formula they've tweaked for many years until they get something that seems to work in a general sense.  I am curious where the Florida RPI formula lands on this spectrum.  I tried googling "florida hs football RPI formula" but it doesnt give me any info.  If the formula is a closely guarded secret then my guess is it lands closer to the home grown end than the sophisticated stats research end of the spectrum. 
Nearly all formulas have one thing in common:  they grow more accurate as more teams start playing common opponents and the initial strength weightings that are necessary at the beginning of the season lose their significance relative to actual data.  Always expect some wonky results until everybody has played common opponents and the "relative" part of relative power index can take hold.

Understand Josh,  and I agree people should not be presenting false claims without facts. However I would caution against overreacting.

What you pointed out was rankings and transfers.  I am saying that doesn't matter right now.  After week 7 it may make sense but those are not sure fire indicators of talent down south.

Yeah, I can confirm that the Columbus students do both the video and the commentary, even occasional sideline reporting and interviews. They even do the away games. Kids traveled to Savanah GA for the Benedictine game last week and are headed up to Jacksonville today for the Bartram Trail game tomorrow. Then again they have a nationally competitive news broadcast program
AHP used to have their student news kids do it, but not sure what happened there. They were clearly not doing this year's IMG game.
