And this is an improvement? I think we need to seed by Section (not region) before the first round starts. You'd have Carol City and Central meeting in the semi's, where they should be meeting. Not in round two. The region immediately above 4 is not strong. So why punish a super strong section, like 6A 4, by having them knock each other off in tough games before the semis? Maybe Naples and Charlotte would crack the top 6 in Region 4. But there is no way they could advance out of that region.
If it was done right, the section would probably look something like this. The travel is not too crazy. S. Fla. and S.W. Fla is only a 70 minute ride over the Alley.  The only really long drives would have been Clearwater to Central (4 hours) and N. Fort Myers to Mainland (probably 3.5). Largo can get to Charlotte in 90 minutes or less.

2. Central v. 15. Clearwater
3. Mainland v. 14. N. Fort Myers
4. Heritage. 13. Norland
5. Naples v. 12 Eue Galle
6. Dillard v. 11. Fort Myers
7. Northwestern v. 10. Barron Collier

Dillard and Western with two very impressive showings!  Sucks Dillard had to play Central round 1.   

Dillard had a great season. If they had been in 8A or 5A, I believe they would have made a run at the state title this year.
Great season for the new staff and if everything remains in tact, look for Dillard to make several deep runs and possibly win a title over the next 1 to 5 years. 
The talent was always there. It just needed the right staff. Hopefully the kids stay home and play for the Panthers.

Thats when reality set in that we are really going toe to toe with the number 2 team in Florida and the number 10 team in the nation. And as tears roll down my face I’m just so proud of this team the strides and growth they made to the point MIAMI CENTRAL fans on the score stream thread was surprised and even said maybe it’s a new 6A contender on the scene!! They were talking about DILLARD!! 
As 30 point underdogs we came in and fought head up with one of the nations best where before we have been getting blown out by state ranked competition let alone nation ranked. All in all Dillard has nothing to be ashamed of if anything it showed they they will be a force next year because with more then half the team being underclass they will only get better as long as they stay in house IM SO DAM PROUD OF U PANTHERS WHAT A AWESOME SEASON PAWS UP!!!

That kid Bogle is a monster.   For a kid his size he's so strong, and then you have his explosiveness.   Game changer.  

Oh trust me I'm not dismissing them at all. Those 2 are my favorites to come out of the South. I was just defending Rockledge. To me Rockledge is the dark horse on the South side of the bracket. TCA is the only team I see making any noise out of the North. 

I just think that people are dismissing AHP and Gibbons the winner of that game is still the favorite IMO.   Only team I see staying with them is TCA.

My post was directed to rockledge !!! I was just mad they were ranked higher then Trinity... As far as AHP and GC I know those will be tough games if Trinity makes it to state and has to play them 

I wouldn't say they got worked. Rockledge held their own and was in the game for the entirety of the game. Southridge pulled away in the latter stages of the 2nd half.

I wouldn't say worked it was a one score game most of the night, it was anyones game.

Rockledge also got worked by Southridge @ Rockledge.         

BTW would be significantly better; Carol City, depending on who replaced him at QB, would be anything from a bit worse, to significantly worse. 

And anyone with a lick of football knowledge knows Sta wasn't the only threat before.

Since you're obviously propping up NorthFL, which team in your lifetime would have won that( late November @Niceville). And what north FL team beats Mainland '04 or '06?

No idea, maybe a kid moved to the area from the Caribbean?  I don't see it either.   Carol City gets local transfers never heard of them getting anything international.

Miami Central’s offense in the late 3rd and 4th quarter was a thing of absolute BEAUTY!   They spread it out crazy wide and just did what they wanted.   I’m not going to eat crown on the loss because Only fools thought MC had no chance, but I will eat crow on Underwood.  Lol did I say he hated to run with the ball?!  Oops!  Talk about an unexpected wrinkle that murdered sta on 3rd downs.   
MC completely outcoached STA down the stretch.  Why would STA punt the ball down 2 scores w/ 5 min left with MC’s O going full on super saiyen?!

I don’t think they are bad though either.  Dematha went to Imhotep and beat them by much more than SJR did from Jersey. (team that was basically even with AHP)

Then idk what your talking about cause it’s not bombs after bombs after bombs.. They run a route tree like every school those... They wouldn’t be no 1000 yard backs in Dade County if they do that... For anyone feeling charitable, apparently Asst Coach Gazzillo at St Thomas Aquinas needs some help.  He was a graduate asst at Penn St and head coach of 2 different south FL high schools.  He has spent about 20 years at St Thomas being mentored by George Smith, but doesn't have a clue how to coach elite players/teams.  Maybe someone out there could give him a call and some pointers. 
Oh, and just top be clear, I am being sarcastic...sarcastic as hell actually.
