Steve Davis has stepped down as the head coach of Plantation after 11 seasons. He is uncertain if he will officially retire or not, just saying he wants to take some time off first.

Davis was a great coach.  He unfortunately, had to jump from the frying pan (STA - for several yeas) into the pot with Miramar and Flanagan.  Plantation was a great team this year and only lost to STA, Flanagan and eventually were ousted @ Deerfield Beach 14-17 in the 8A Playoffs.  Thank you Steve Davis for providing quality HS football teams for many years.

Very good coach. Much respect to him and wishing him the best in the future! Should he decide to coach again, wherever he goes he will be successful though!
