Who was the last team and what year did a team from the  5A-8 District reach States? Would Gulf be the first?

 

None of these teams will make it to Orlando.    Best District top to bottom looks like 5A-2.  Someone out of that District could have a shot....

I think ribault has a shot to upset Suwannee during season and take that district, Suwannee lost who in my opinion was their best defensive player to transfer (thank you because now we have another pass rusher) 😉 but also because they have to replace their coach and that could make them vulnerable team if they face someone close to their talent level

This is a weak top half of a bracket.

 

North Marion seems to be by far the most talented team in Region 2.

 

Region 1 is a toss up. Wakulla and Rickards seem to be ahead of the pack. Ponta Vedra could be that random team that makes the semis.

 

Either way, AHP seems to be the fave from the South waiting for a sacrificial lamb from the North.

The best team in north side last few years has been wakulla who put up a huge fight against bishop morre in the title game, north Marion seems to underachieve a ton, rickards ribault Suwannee ponta vedra and godby can all have outside chances but my pick is wakulla winning the 5A north
