In 2012, the Dade Christian Crusaders reached the Class 2A State Title game only to fall to University Christian (Jacksonville). Now, in 2016, the small South Florida school will not field a football team.

Shame...Well that leaves us with  ZERO 1A and how now only one 2A program (Champagnat Cahtholic) in Broward and Dade?

Can you imagine being a player going into your senior year and your school doing away with football.  I hope everything works out for the kids and the coaches.

I think most of these kids will be fine.  Usually, someone gets wind of these kind of things and the kids start looking to have a plan B in place if the rumors are true.

All I can say is ouch. It seems the school has much bigger worries than football. Sorry for the community. It is usually not fun for a rising senior to have a forced exit from school.
