Weakest and strongest class?

I have never watched Leto High School play in real life.  If I say that they are not able to compete and have no shot at making the playoffs and not a bright future ahead - does that make me wrong if I have never watched them?

I could also point the finger at people who have never truly seen ELITE teams play when they THINK they are watching ELITE football , when they are realistically probably watching a very good team.

Leto would beat a lot of teams in the mid west

I am looking at the 3A top 6 versus the 4A top 6.  I have to lean 3A - There are probably over 100 D1 offers combined on the 3A 6 teams

In no specific order 3A versus 4A top 6:

TCA               BTW

C-Madonna   Cocoa

ClearCCath   Raines

Oxbridge       Glades Central

Tampa Cath  Bolles

AHD              Dunnellon

Thoughts?

Here is a little deeper and I basically ran out of potentially average teams in 4A - It got ugly really fast:

I've never seen leto therefore not going to say anything bad about them, aren't they the ones that used to be in armwood district and were winless 2 years ago?

I won't say anything bad about them and I have never seen them but I 110% promise you that they cannot compete with many 8A playoff teams...then again "I have not seen them" so fiction?

Agree and I even concluded that without seeing Leto play.  columbiahighfan2016 seems to think we cannot get a general feel or rating on teams unless we watch them play in person.  Give me film/hudl, boxscores, opponents, roster talent, coach, and strength of schedule and I can get a pretty good feel for a team.

So you telling me that Dallas Jackson spent that much effort before saying how bad Columbia was last year?

    • Dillard - I'm not sure that hiring a HS football coach is the same as bringing a student on board the team. I think that any school can hire any football coach that they want any time they want. They can even hire a football coach that is currently coaching at another school. Where did you find that it's illegal?
    • IMO the FHSAA should simply return to the previous rules that if a student transfers from one school district to another they would be allowed to in accordance with Florida law. However, that student could only transfer for academic reasons and would have to remain out of sports for the first full season of that particular sport. As I understand it, when the Florida Legislature passed the law that allowed students to transfer anywhere and at anytime they had academics in mind. It was a law that allowed students to transfer from a poor performing school academically to a good performing school academically and not for the explicit purpose of playing a game. I wonder if the Florida Legislature fully understands what happens when students are allowed to transfer explicitly for sports and how some of those transfers seriously disturb the natural flow of events with the sports team of those schools. To make matters worse they are now proposing that some high school students, that just happen to be good at playing a game, be paid for their participation. Truly amazing.
    • In the words of Chris Rainey...
    • Independent contractors....   What will go wrong with this?
    • I seriously can't remember how many times I had to do that very thing. Like Nolebull said in another discussion, the kids know kids from other schools and where the "hot hand" is. I never entertained discussions with kids or parents of kids from other schools. I know we lost some good ones because of it but I am ok with that.
