Northside vs Carrollwood Day

Interesting challenge!  Historically Hillsborough dominates these games.  Pinellas County ball is definitely ranked 8th in the 8 metro areas.  Just too many schools spreading the talent thin IMO.  Anyway, here's my predictions:

Durant over PHU (heart says PHU, head says Durant)

Jesuit over PPark

Hillsborough over Northeast

Largo over East Bay

SPHS over Gaither (SP QB is a monster and leads the state in rushing and TDs!)

Clearwater over Blake

Carrollwood Day over Northside

The closest matchup is Durant vs PHU.  I would lean PHU but we lost our heart and soul on defense and county player of the year two games ago in the win over hated East Lake.  It's tough to lose a player like that.

Palm Harbor U vs Durant - Too close to call. I'll go with the home team for PinellasFB.

Pinellas Park vs Jesuit- Jesuit

Northeast v. Hillsborough-Hillsborough

Larg v. East Bay- Largo

St. Pete v. Gaither- Gaither, but they are streaky so this could easily be Green Devils.

Clearwater v. Blake- Clearwater

Northside v. Carrollwood Day- Carollwood Day

Very interesting read. Thanks for posting. I was a college sophomore at the University of the West Indies when that game was played.

Hillsborough flexed their muscle Gaither knocking heavily favored Largo out. Jesuit took care of business against Northeast. And CDS boat raced Northside

So Hillsborough is 6-3 vs Pinellas in the playoffs with 2 more games coming up in the 3rd round

Berkeley Prep vs Calvary Christian

interesting that Hillsborough goes 8-14 vs Pinellas in the regular season, but is 6-3 in the playoffs all of a sudden. Seems to be that Pinellas was racking up wins against bad teams, and now have nowhere to hide in the playoffs. Lol
