Can Dwyer be a factor in 7A?

STA's been pretty damn unlucky this year.   Could very well be #1 in the nation at this point.

Nah their offensive line is better and their running game is much better IMO.   Yes Broward is down, but STA is better IMO.   Allen is better without having the pressure of getting the ball to his "go to" Wrs.   It showed vs Gorman when Grimes went down.  

 

Agree.  OL is better and RBs overall as well.... Allen is a year older....  but offensively they have no weapon like Bruce and defensively they have no weapon that could bring pressure like Bosa (before he got hurt).  Overall at the DE position they were much deeper last year.  

But to conclude...I don't think 2016 Dwyer would beat 2015 STA nor will they beat 2016 STA.

Most of the backups on STA would be starters on other teams so it not like he throwing to a jv receiver

exactly, so defenses are focusing on Grimes and Bruce, yet Allen would still try to get it to those guys instead of hitting the "3star" seniors that are single covered.

They did go to Miami to play MNW for the KoC and compete with them.   

 

 

They do usually play Broward or Dade teams in pre-season ...it's just not the same ambition as a team that want's to step to the plate in the regular season to me....

IMO Dwyer is the 2nd best team in 7A.  

Venice and Braden River are both quality, state caliber teams. I have seen them with my own eyes and have no doubt about this. I am not saying they would be a lock to beat Dwyer; however Dwyer would have its hands full against both these teams.

I believe Allen only completed 11 passes for about 150 yards,   had a couple of turnovers versus Viera at States but it was almost irrelevant.... Viera actually ran way more plays and had the ball for 5 more minutes in that game but the difference in the speed and physicality fixed all of that.  Hard to out-coach speed and physicality....  Same goes for Dwyer.

I was just looking at the box score for Flanagan versus STA and Allen only completed 7 passes for 13 attempts.   No one in 7A will stop the STA OL and RBs.  No one.

I think if you gave Flanagan the Dwyer schedule, you would have similar results - defensively speaking. I surely give the edge to Dwyer over Flanagan offensively but realistically I don't think it will appear much different to the STA defense..... When you have faced Bisop Gorman's offense, Dwyer will look like a JV offense.

 

I believe STA will basically do what they please with Dwyer. The Dwyer DLine is in for shock and awe...

I think Dwyer versus IMG would basically be a similar outcome.  There is no team in Palm Beach keeping things interesting with IMG.

I think Dwyer having opportunities in given years to be able to beat STA is more about STA being down, then Dwyer being "strong" .

I believe history of Dwyer beating STA backs this up as well.

 

Dwyer is in for an eye opening awakening when they line up against STA - simply due to their cupcake schedule. I understand beating down Delray Atlantic minus their QB and in a down year is a "big" thing in

PB County...... they have no clue what their going to get shoved down their throat between the depth of STA's OL and RBs...
