Dark Horse out of CFla in 2017-2018

Wekiva is absolutely loaded on defense. Apopka take?

 

My two dark horses out of CFla are Wekiva and Olympia and with the new playoff format we could see 5 West Orange County teams in the playoffs

The area is extremely deep in talent.

SW Orange County teams who should make playoffs in 8A

All are talented but wow it looks like Wekiva has scooped up some talent that was originally zoned for Apopka. Apopka is a major program, however, and somehow Coach Darkington always gets it done.

 

In the years ahead I see a rivalry brewing between Wekiva and Apopka and perhaps some close games.

West Orange supposed to regain old form or will it be like 2016 again this year

Jury is out. The opening of Windermere High is going to negatively affect West Orange, at least for the first few years.
