Noticed 12 combined fumbles?  9 for Port Charlotte?  Was it raining?

It had rained prior to the game, which didn't start until 8 due to lightning. Good thing the game was in Port Charlotte and not Hardee because that storm moved northward and a tornado touched down in Wauchula.

The fumbles were due to lights out play by the Hardee defense forcing bad snaps and keeping pressure on the Port Charlotte QB.  An impressive job by a group of underclassmen for Hardee; 3 sophs and a freshman on the defense against mostly seniors for Port Charlotte.
