Whats your thoughts on this play 

 

Should he be suspended for this late Hit?

 

At first i thought it was a clean but hard hit until they showed the replay and showed him lowering his head

I hate the targeting rule in college but this hit right here is bad!!!

That's targeting. What would cut some of this out in my opinion would be to go back to the old style helmets without all the extra padding.

Had a choice to lead with his face mask and head up.  Clearly chose to deliberately lower his head and lead with his crown.  Right call according to the rules IMO.

I think he was probably in the passion of the moment and intending to knock the guy on his ass.  Nature of the beast, in the game we love....
