Half-cent sales tax referendum rescinded. (Destin High update)

Well folks, the School District has pulled the proposed half cent sales tax referendum that was supposed to appear on ballots in the spring of 2018. There's lots of investigations with teachers and the district going on now, so I think it was the right choice.

So what does this mean for Destin HS? Not going to happen for quite a few years? Could be back on the 2018 ballot?

When the dust settles, the school board will probably put it on the 2018 general election ballot. (I'm not sure if they can do county referendums during general elections) Or wait til May of 2019 for a mail in ballot, so progress will be postponed for a while.
