Great job Clewiston High administration.  We can't have kids making music videos on their own time and expressing themselves.  It is a great idea to take away one of the most positive activities(high school football) a young man can participate in.  The 25 hours a week they were busy with football can now be on the streets. The incentive to keep your grades up and regular school attendance will not be there.  maybe the next time they will wave real guns and throw gang signs. Maybe we don't see their name on a recruiting profile but on an arrest log or maybe an obituary.  Young men need to be mentored, instructed, forgiven, and loved or we will lose them. Obviously Clewiston High cares zero when in comes to truly educating students.

They were throwing gang signs.  I would need to know more about the kids and their past history to really make a comment on the punishment.  On the surface it looks like an over reaction but I need more details that I won't get

We can complain all we like, but when someone else is writing the paychecks or providing the free education, we better be sensitive about how our actions outside work or school might reflect upon their image, especially if we have already been talked to about it.

I know someone who was fired from their job over something less egregious than a video like that.  Not saying I agree with the punishment, but poor judgment = consequences.  Anyone remember the 7th floor crew music video at UM?
