Who did he play for?  Did he ever play in a state title game?

Kenny Phillips played for Miami City Carol and I don't believe he ever did.....................?????

They won it in 2003. Wasn't he on that team? I believe so. That 2003 Carol City D was straight nasty!

Yes he did! It was him, Rickey Jean Francois and the famous Willie Williams.... That D was bad ass!!!!

It is Kenny Phillips, who played for Carol City back in the early 2000's.  The 6'2" 195 pound safety ran a 4.43 40 and had a vertical jump of 37 inches.  He was one of the most recruited high school players of his class(2005).  Phillips earned high school All-American honors and was a USA Today Defensive Player of the Year.  There are not many Florida hs players who can claim that.  He helped Carol City win a state title against Edgewater in 2003.

He then played for the Canes and went on to win a Super Bowl ring with the Giants.  He did well academically in high school and college, showing it is possible to excel both on the field and in the classroom.
