Florida HS Football's Ultimate Dynasty Rankings

Taking a nod from Dallas Jackson's HSFB100 Dynasty Rankings, we are creating what appears to be the first ever set of Dynasty Rankings for high school football in Florida.

Collecting and compiling 10 years worth of data was the biggest challenge in getting this done and will use a combination of the final regular season AP/FSWA polls (believe it or not I was able to bridge the past 10 seasons together), plus a playoff points system. How the point system was determined will be explained in an article.

I hope to release the first part in what will expand over at least 12 days starting on Monday, but it depends how much closer I am done in compiling all the data.

As you can imagine there will be hot debate as to who will be in the Top 25 for Florida HS Football's Ultimate Dynasty Rankings and I encourage to post your own Top 25 here.

I am looking forward to releasing these rankings once they are finished and I know a lot of you all will enjoy reading them and telling a friend about them.

Will be looking forward to the release of the Florida Dynasty Rankings.

1. STA - They better start winning out very soon or they will lose ground here.

2. Manatee - One off year doesn't take them down to much in the rankings.

3. Bolles - Corky took them on some good runs, but in the end they have a softer schedule than most.

4. MC - Consistantly in the top 5 - 10 of Florida rankings.

5. Plant - Always seem to be in the top 10 at the start of the season, but lose one or 2 until the playoffs.

6. BTW - Harris puts this team in your face, If he hadn't taken some time at the U, they would be #1.

7. Armwood - Give back one championship doesn't take them out of it.

8. Cocoa - Wilks has the Tigers on a winning path to the playoffs most every year.

9. Lakeland - Dreadnaughts have fallen and can't get up. It would not surprise me to see them come alive soon.

10  Northwestern - Another team that needs to make a statement soon.

11. Dwyer - 10 years of mostly getting it done, but a few bad years here and there.

12. L:incoln - You can never count them out until you put them out in the playoffs.

13. Glades Central - Has the magic left this proud program or just the rabbit?

14. Pensacola Catholic - some good runs from the north.

15. St. Augustine - Lots of playoff time get this team in.

16. Madison County

17. Apopka

18. Jefferson Tampa

19. Godby

20. Daytona Mainland

21. Palm Bay

22. Miramar

23. Heritage Plantation

24. Trinity Catholic

25. American Heritage Delray

Not sure how much in order they really are, but most of these teams have had a good run more than a few times.
