Taylor County has a new head coach

Taylor County has named Tanner Jones, the son of the legendary Wakulla coach J.D. Jones, as the new head coach and athletic director today, per the Taco Times newspaper.

 

Jones, replaces Ryan Smith who leaves after two seasons of coaching the Bulldogs.

 

Jones comes over from Taylor County middle where he served in the same positions at the school.

Why did Smith leave?  I know he left Deland to be closer to his family but why leave now?

Been told things didn't work out in Perry has he would like them to. He is moving out of state for better job opportunities.

I used to drive thru Perry a lot going back and forth from Tampa to Tallahasse.

 

Would stop at this gas station that had a Chicken joint in it. It was a must stop!
