Not a lot of changes this week, but some big games coming up that could change that.

I know you caught a bit of flack over Lake Minneola, but overall your list seems pretty solid unlike MaxPreps.  These clowns currently have Clearwater Academy International ranked not only ahead of us, but Bishop Moore, Edgewater, Manatee, Lake Wales, Bartram Trail, Deland, Plant, Apopka ........... well you get my drift.

Really feel like that was the only big "miss." Wasn't aware of all the transfers, and to be frank didn't have as much time to research them as I wanted to. But now with 2 weeks of data points I feel pretty good. And yeah no way they should all be ahead of you.

Actually, a bit of sarcasm as I and apparently several others on this forum are skeptical about the MaxPrep rankings when you see this with Clearwater Academy International who did not even field a team this year.   But you gotta trust the algorithms  kinda like the ones on social media.   SURE!!!

    • You float back and forth between macro picture generalizations and a specific game you almost certainly did not watch. Classic nolebull
    • This is just ridiculous rambling. How many *plays* of Manatee's season did you watch? In a 13 game season, SJB only beat two (2) teams by 28 or more points. The notion that they would have traveled across the country and won by 28 over a team that basically played STA (who had Bishop Gorman on the ropes, up double-digits in the 2nd half) to a draw...is the silly kind of thing I guess we have to put up with in early March
    • Lowndes dominated them in all aspects of the game. Georgia has much more resources for coaching staffs and the coaching is definitely better up there because of the resources. Lowndes dominated from beginning to end. Talking about yards is like saying a boxer who got knocked down 3 times had just as many punches landed but never knocked the other guy down. Lowndes doubled their points. It wasn’t even close. The game was never in doubt. Georgia overall is a little better than Florida at team football. Because of the money have to invest. We have better individual talent but they are deeper in teams
    • You are acting like a child throwing a temper tantrum. Use context clues dude! You couldn’t take the best players in all of Manatee County and assemble them on one team to come within 3 touchdowns of SJB. And Manatee is not getting Sarasota County talent where Venice has it locked down. Are you banking on some random kid from Tampa magically transferring? Manatee will be light years better last year than this year. They lose by 28 to SJB last year and about 42 this coming year
    • The worst officiated game I have ever seen live at any level of football was at Manatee against Don Bosco from New Jersey back in 2011. That area of the state is known for having crooked refs in their back pocket.
