I haven't posted all year  but I want to say I'm really proud of Jax TCA because I did not think they would make it this far this year!

Jax TCA has made it to the states semifinals

With 31 sophomores on their team

13 juniors and only 9 seniors.

Starting a freshman quarterback who rotates every series with the sophomore quarterback, and most of the starters on both sides of the ball were 10th graders

Even if we don't make it to state this year that's a great accomplishment And everybody better watch out because the next few years Jax  TCA is going to be really really good

  • JaxTCA2010stateCHAMP changed the title to Jax TCA going to state semi finals after beating UC 27-6

Down here in So Flo we (& Chaminade) were hoping TC would be Chaminade’s opponent. They haven’t forgotten the last time they played. Though a few years ago, Lions out for revenge!!!!!

Unfortunately don't think this will be a close Game...Chaminade is still a machine.

CCC Newman going to be a War. CCC actually held out their QB Newton and cruised against Lakeland Christian 35-14. Game was never in doubt.

CCC has a brutal path to winning States. They only lost 27-20 to Venice so wouldn't be surprising if they won states but don't think they get by Chaminade.

Watched CN take down a pretty talented First Baptist squad. The Crusaders wear you down by the 4th. They have a tall big OL that makes everything else go. There defense is speedy & Physical. They won’t lose a game because of Coaching. Daniels & his assistants have been doing this for decades.
CCC have been on a mission all year. They appear better than last year. Saw them when the came to Ft Laud & dismantled Gibbons last year. Super game this Friday.

Yep coached against CCC the past few years and this is their best defense they've had. Also their oline is really good and Newton/Cuono are P5 players.

Their Achilles heel is the secondary but you have to have legit receivers. Their front 7 is probably one of the best in the state.

CCC is for sure battle tested

Honestly I don't think it will be either, Trinity is super young and I didn't even think we would have made it this far.

But also you never know , we were underdogs last time you played chaminade at State and we won.......

Trinity also played a really close game with raines this year... Raines scored a few lucky touchdowns at the end of the fourth quarter to make the score and get worse than it was but it was a close game the entire game Trinity was up at halftime all the way until the fourth quarter, and raines is undefeated and number one in their class

For sure and I don't mean that as Disrespect as ya'll are always loaded with talent.

CCC is just really good this year and they're battle tested over the past 3 years. Newton is as good as it gets at the High School Level for a Dual Threat QB. Their Line is Massive and well coached. They have probably a top 5 defense in the state

CCC has played 10 Playoff Teams and that doesn't include St Frances who is insane..

CCC squeezed it out 22-21.

2 Pt. Conversion in OT to win the game

Honestly don't think CCC can keep it within 14 of Chaminade. Chaminade rolled Newman last year and also CCC in the Final...They have been on a tear since the St Thomas game.

It’ll b a lot better game this year than last. Chaminade has definitely been CCC’s thorn in the side. Marauders best chance for the upset…….

I watched a little of their game, it's incredible how many playmakers they can plug in and hand the ball off to.

CCC will be one of the best Defenses they've played all year so it'll come down to whether CCC can move the ball at all

I'd say they would be the 4th best defense they've faced this season

They held Venice to 27 so that's gotta be considered. IMG was the only other team to hold them under 30

I'd say they are definitely up there but with that game I also consider the fact it was still a kickoff classic. I would be between them and STA as the third and 4th best defense

That was later in the season not KOC

But anyways they're Toast, Newton is out with a knee injury. Looks like Chaminade are Shoe ins

    • TFA was doing way more than just a few slap on the wrist actions.  They are recruiting around the state and haven't stopped.  MNW probably has an outcry because a coach did it out of the kindness of his heart and love for the kids.  Hard to look at that in the same way as TFA which is all business and gives zeros shits about their kids. To be fair, TFA kids give zero shits about their school as it is a mutual business decision.  However, rules are rules and Teddy broke the rules so consequences are due no matter the intent.
    • I know "communism" is a common scare word brought up in the political world just to easily dismiss any ideas of a shared revenue concept.  In the world of sports, uncapped spending creates a great divide in competitiveness and hurts the sport overall.  If we didn't have any type of distributed money from the government, only a few schools could afford to field a team.  Football is incredibly expensive compared to other sports.  The big programs do in fact have a huge budget advantage over the field despite the shared revenue anyway.  The solution to this is actually to do whatever other states are doing to fund their programs.  Georgia coaches make serious money and coaching is a legit career there.  How do they afford it while Florida sucks ass?
    • The question i have is & im being serious when I ask this ; what is the difference between northwestern & the first academy.    because the first academy got hit with one of the harshest punishments ive seen recently for doing basically the same thing. Paying for uber rides & other incentives to the players in need & for a lot of the transfers that transferred to TFA but didn’t have transportation to & from.    & there was NO out cry. Matter fact everyone said TFA got what they deserved. But in MNW case it’s all hell broke loose. Is it because who the head coach is ? Or is it because teddy explained what all the money he spent was for ? …….
    • If we keepin it real. Before last year northwestern was known by name, and last history but, their product on the field was avg at best. Their last title was in 2019 & after that they had a 1 or 2 4-6 or 5-5 seasons after.    & most will say they only won the championship last year because outside of central who had to forfeit 3A and the teams that’s in it is HORRENDOUS.    teddy becoming the head coach of the west single handily had transfers legal and illegal coming in left and right because he’s a former/active nfl player & lets face it in 2025 the kids love to follow the hype.    having a face like teddy on the sidelines automatically guarantee that entire team all types of connects, endorsements, exposure & etc.
    • Nolebull, I'm not sure who you're referring to when you talk about the "jealous" and "disdainful" people.  Bridgewater has put the MNW administrators in between a rock and a hard place.   He basically came right out and said "I've been breaking the rules and if you don't like it, tough sh*t."  The MNW admin folks have two choices:  try to take matters into their own hands in hopes that the FHSAA will go easy on them or, alternatively, put their collective heads into the sand, ignore Bridgewater's public confession and hope that the matter quietly goes away.  Oh, and it ain't going away.
