Before Lawnwood Stadium opened in 1970, Fort Pierce teams played at Jaycee Field, which was located east of U.S. 1 near the Fort Pierce police station.

Also next door to Pittsburgh Pirates spring training way back when!

Didn't the Dodgers also have connections down there in Vero Beach? 

 

Historic Dodgertown if i recall correctly is in Vero Beach

Dodgertown was /is located in Vero Beach.  However, the Dodgers have been gone for many years, and since then the old facility has struggled to find an identity.  The New Orleans Saints trained in the facility for a couple years in the mid 80ies.
