Columbia that year came 3 points from beating Carol city who was named national champs and de la salle was in middle of longest streak in history at time but was called into question by not taking major competion that often from out of state, this would have been one of Florida best that year against the streak and would have been a top flight encounter

Oh Yeah man We wouldn't mind having a crack at De la Selle in 1997. Glades Central  didn't win state that year ,but we still would have had the hammer to brake the streak

I would also add Carol City that year too... Honestly that streak DLS had would of been been broken if they played teams down here...

Ik that either team that played in that 97 state game wether it was Carol city or Columbia would have had a good chance to end that streak

Have Cocoa and Armwood played before cause if not then this would be a good match up
