Perfect seasons

My guess for that 1 team is Lake City Columbia? Lol

Honestly I don't know if I want undefeated, one of our biggest problems sometimes has been winning as huge favorites, last 4 playoff losses came when we were picked to win, I rather be a underdog heading into a title game or even the playoff games because that's when our success seems to come more often, so better to take that loss in regular season to have the pressure off us later on down the line

I rather have 14-1 with loss in regular season then 10-0 with loss in playoffs or state championship, as we have had both of the latter happen to us before

You're right Columbia...In 2012 Wakulla was 11 - 0, ranked #1 in 5A and getting a rematch with Godby in the 2nd round of the playoffs.  They had beaten Godby fairly easily about three weeks before.  Wakulla didn't play well at all...fumbled through the end zone as they were about to cross the goal line...fumbled to set up a td for Godby...and lost 14 - 7.  Godby went on the finish 14 - 1 and win the state championship...that was a tough one to swallow. lol

After losing to Miami Norland in the championship in 2011, I think they would have won it all in 2012...especially since Godby was able to cruise through after they beat us.  The 2012 Wakulla team may have been better than last years team.  I know they had a better defense in 2012.

With all due respect Trenton was a hell of a lot more than Cheetah Cheevers.

I somewhat agree with u their shark they would have still been a really good team without him,but Do you think they would have beat Madison county without him? He made some game changing plays in that game, I didn't see it but heard a lot about it

If Trenton gets past madision they likely win again. I think in that side of bracket only teams that got shot is Trenton and Madison, maybe pahokke or fort Meade but thsts it. At least in that region

He is definitely a great player but that entire team was something special, but I'm sure someone else would step up.  They were dominant on both sides of the ball against everyone they played. They beat Madison by nine but it just seemed close because that's the only game that didn't have a running clock.  I know I must sound like a Trenton fan but I am not I just appreciate watching great team I just wish they hadn't been in 1A lol.

I agree I think they likely will win again if they can beat Madison, Trenton and Madison this season would be at Trenton to I believe and Trenton is a great home team with their awesome turnout for crowds

    • There are zero coaches on campus, every single coach left
    • There is 1,750 kids in the school. That would be their fault if they can’t field a team of 40-50 players. I know it sucks about the mass exodus. I get it. But even though they won’t be competitive for the time being they should at least have enough varsity players returning, JV kids, and newcomers to field a team.    They should have had an assist at coach resume spring workouts, and maybe got in on a jamboree with lesser teams or held an inter squad scrimmage. But to cancel everything seems a bit erratic
    • From 2018-2021 when Dillard was one of the top 5 teams in broward we got there because on the beginning we schedule within our actual talent on the field, we showed success that we are atleast a avg program being able to take care of business against avg and below avg teams. And with the right personnel we can become above avg and actually contend.    and with that came a undefeated regular season in 2019 with a regional final birth, a undefeated COVID season in 2020 and a Fri county championship and a 1 loss season in 2021 and a second round exit on the road to homestead.    dillard has to get back to that. But scheduling central, chaminade , sta and etc of back dropping each game by 40 is not gonna help the program.    you can say “aye atleast we scheduled them we didn’t back down” like I’ve said several times on here lol. but there’s no moral victories in football. You either won or you lost.
    • I wouldn’t say okay with it because wether they was on the schedule or not I’m bleeding blue & gray all day ready for smoke with which ever team were lining up across.    but as a former player & coach I also understand that when you’re a second year head coach taking over a program that haven’t seen a deep playoff run since 2019 and over the last 5 years they’ve played chaminade 5 times (0-5), norland once (1-0) Central once (0-1) gibbons once (0-1) & on top of that you have a mass exodus of players after the coach before you left ; you have to build your program back up to a contending program before you try to schedule the big dogs of south Florida.    for EX: last year Dillard at STA, GIBBONS & chaminade on the schedule went (0-3) and each lost was by over 20+ the sta loss was 58-0. But those games had to be played because of the last year of the contract.
    • Will Lake Minneola even have a team come August
