7 Year-Olds Getting College Offers

At 5:03...Lane Kiffin says they call the family before making an offer to make sure the kid is mature enough and won't let it go to his head...a 9 year-old:blink:??  At 7:10 ...Evans is opening a school.....is this the future?  ...and the 7 year old expecting a college offer

Sorry, but there is something creepy about grown men:ph34r: calling for my 10 year-old boy.   I don't care WHAT they are offering.  We are not recruiting our future brain surgeons at this age, so why does a kid need to have his whole life planned so early?

We have brainwashed an entire generation into thinking a college degree is everything, and the ends justifies the means to get one.  There are thousands of people out there with college degrees interviewing for $10-$12/hour jobs..and cannot land them because they are "overqualified."  Check out the article below, which shows the impact this craziness is having on our youth.  And we have a growing epidemic with teenagers self-medicating with depressants like Xanax to deal with stress.

We are turning our kids into rock stars at very young ages, yet we bash millenials for being self-absorbed, flaky, and expecting too much too quick.  ...hmmm

How many college football players actually graduate from the colleges that they play for? It's only 57%. How many of those degrees are totally worthless in the job market. Probably most. Only 9 in 10,000 (.09%) of HS players, that go on to play for colleges, are ever drafted by the NFL. Not much better than a HS student ever becoming an Astronaut. So, 43% don't even get degrees, and the rest mostly get degrees that look good hanging on a wall. Why, pray tell, is a 7 year old playing football anyway? He's only a short time out of the Womb for crying out loud.
