Who Is This FL Running Back?

In his senior season, this running back from the modern era led his team to its first and only state title game appearance against a team that was also making its first title game appearance.  He turned in one of the better rushing performances in state title game history, scoring 4 TD's and rushing for over 200 yards.  His team's rushing game was so dominant in that title game, their qb only attempted one pass the entire game.  He rushed for over 2000 yards in his senior season and also played as a linebacker.  He later attended the University of South Carolina, where he played as a defensive back.  Although signed by NFL teams, his NFL career never took off as hoped.  

Who is he and for what team did he play?

It is Emmanual Cook, who led Palm Beach Gardens to a 49-29 win over Deerfield Beach in the 2005 6A final at Dolphins Stadium in Miami, rushing for 243 yards and 4 TD's.  He was recognized as the South Florida Sun-Sentinel Player of the Year for large schools that year. He ran for 373 yards and 5 TD's in a game against Atlantic.   Was ranked as the No. 21 safety in the country by Rivals.com, who also tabbed him as the No. 51 player in the state of Florida, regardless of position.  Earned Freshman All-SEC honors and was second Team All-SEC his sophomore year at U of South Carolina as a safety.  Good job Muck City and Flo'.

...interesting note...2005 was one of only 2 years in the past 25 where a Miami-Dade team did not play for a state title...the other was 2000.
