He was the same age as my oldest child. I don't want to have the task of burying any of my children!

Tyrone Moss set numerous all-time marks in Broward County history at Blanche Ely High in Pompano Beach.

7105 career yards - became the sixth rb in FL to reach 7000 career yards

As a senior in 2002, rushed for 2,313 yards and 35 touchdowns while leading his school to the Florida Class 5A state championship...Also caught 10 passes for 164 yards...Rushed for 2,100 yards on 201 carries and scored 35 touchdowns as a junior in 2001, averaging 9.4 yards per attempt...Rushed for more than 2,500 yards as a sophomore in 2000.

107 career TDs - tied state record at the time

Third rb in FL history to rush for 7000 yards and 100 TD's in a career

That's a shame. Saw him in Tallahassee lead Ely over Tampa Wharton for the Championship. The young man was a beast. RIP

Damn thats rough. Dude was a beast on the field.   Damn man I'm 33, way to young for him to go.

Like Columbia said, we never know when our journey ends. So we need to make the best of what we have got and enjoy the ride as it occurs. It hurts, though, 33 is too young to die from natural causes.
