Who Are the 2 FL HS Legends? Earnest Graham/Mariner and Derrick Gibson/Killian

Both were high school All-Americans from the southern part of the state.  The Gator set state records in high school and went on to play for the Bucs in the NFL.  The Nole was rated by some as the top hs prospect in the state his senior year.  He was a first round pick of the Raiders and played in the NFL for a number of years. 

Who are they and where did each play in high school?

Earnest Graham (UF) and Daniel Gibson (FSU)

That was the 2000 game, won 30-7 by Chris Wienke and the Noles. The Gators won the SEC title the next week. FSU lost to Oklahoma 13-2 in the Orange Bowl playing for a national title. Bobby Bowden more or less blamed Mark Richt being occupied with his new gig at Georgia for the loss.

Earnest is now the coach at Evangelical Christian in Fort Myers.  And the transfers are rolling in.  Should be a decent 2A team.

It is former Nole db Derrick Gibson of Miami Killian and former Gator rb Earnest Graham, who played at Cape Coral Mariner and was FL Mr Football in 1997..
