Well it’s no secret who I’m rooting for but outside of me being a alumn and former player I’m rooting for them for the culture. To prove you don’t have to chase and transfer to private schools for success. Especially in broward county.

Oh, all right. Well, you could look at it this way: one of the great positives to staying involved with high school football and posting on this message board is that you get to interact with me! That is some great incentive for you right there!

The so -called "sharks" of this message board have no effect on me at all. I am known for my knowledge and wisdom, for making great sense, for satisfying women, and for being the most knowledgeable poster on this message board on the subject of officiating by far. I know what an honor and privilege that it truly is for the other posters to the message board to hear from and speak to me!

One of the few things we do know about the formula is that margin of victory does not count. So, the ratings system interprets St. Augustine's win as it would if it were 56-55 (or 10-9, etc). Because margin of victory is out, what we have is basically what we had before. it's just your W-L record and the records of your opponents and their opponents.

open enrollment and transfers for academic reasons is not the problem here. Its recruiting and transfers for athletic reasons. Since our state association has zero power to rule them ineligible and even if they did, the state and courts would overturn it, we need to promote and demote. Period

Bruh getting close to crossing the political line. Please keep your personal politics on the sideline. Obviously he doesn't like unlimited transfers because it becomes a free-for-all where students are no longer students but rent-a-players where funny business runs unabated. It's now not uncommon where a kid transfers in the fall semester for football and then transfers elsewhere in the spring for a different sport. School choice has always been about academics, not athletics. These "school choices" are clearly for athletics, not academics. I personally also don't like unlimited transfers but maybe a compromise is unlimited transfers to an equal or higher rated school so that it is still about academics? Poorly rated schools who want transfers will then have to put all of their money into improving the academics of their school.

To be the best you got to be the best. I look forward to the opportunity. This standing room only crowd on Dillard side is about to be amazing. No one predicted us to be In this spot to even have a chance to compete in this game b4 this season started after all we lost in the off season.

I'm pulling for Dillard but it's just not a reasonable expectation vs STA. I would hate to be in their district. So unfair.

I have an 11th grader and 8th grader moving through the Palm Harbor program but I have always been a FL HS football fan since my own playing days down in Charlotte County so I find it interesting to get the inside scoop on other teams on this board.

SMH BRO……ANYWHO Ill b top row on the 50 if u ain’t roaming the fence. When STA HOsted Miramar the gates didn’t open till after 6:30. There was a big crowd by then. Dillards 2 crème puffs they played ain’t gonna hurt their performance tonight. If anything they got used to the end zone again which I hope continues Friday night!!!

That officiating crew was suspended, and the Supervisor of the Officials Association issued an apology and admittance of wrongdoing by the crew to the Cocoa Athletic Director.
