TC handled Martin County pretty comfortably a couple weeks back and as I expected blew out Centennial last night 40-7.  Those writing them off and thinking Vero Beach was a shoo-in for the district crown have just been given a reality check.  TC will be making some noise in the playoffs.  Again, a team like Vero needed a couple more challenging games this year to avoid an unexpected loss to a district foe.  Winning all those district games guarantees your ticket in.

Nothing to do with playing talented teams! When your QB goes does in 1st half with you down a TD and your offense can’t seem to work without force feeding one guy it happens

I guess we will see when they play treasure Coast since so many people think Vero is better than them just because of the record being better but it's not like Vero beats the teams TC played

Exactly. One player, even the QB position, should not stop a state caliber team from beating a relatively average team.

Although Aronson and Jacobs getting hurt didn’t help, Vero was still able to move the ball somewhat and tied the game, the bigger issue for Vero was Martin County running on/ through them like wet toilet paper, this does not bode well for them when they play TC next week.

I can only speak for myself but I never thought Vero was a state caliber team! Defense hasn’t been good enough at all three levels to be considered state caliber in a number of years! Offense can’t run the ball to save their lives and you can’t focus all your offense on one guy!

Martin county and John Carroll both a bit underrated in this area! Both quality teams BUT Vero should have handled them
