The hurricane did mess the team up. They missed 2 games (Newman and Atlantic) and 2 weeks of school/practice, then the first game back...Vero! That would’ve been a tough game without missing time, but the conditioning and missed tackles (was a problem all season) got exposed that game.

#1 was the only player with more than 1 game of varsity game experience at that point. Our secondary and QB was the weakness of our team last season. This year our secondary should be a strength

That and play-calling in the redzone. We had a 6'4" wr (#4) that would win any jump ball and a te (#15) that's unguardable on the slant. And we didn't attempt either on 2 trips inside the 10. One we got a field goal and the other and turn over on downs

Ddefensively, this team should be better. They are coming into the season the same way they did in 2016. 

Questions at QB and a sour taste from a playoff loss (Madison last year and Dixie Co. that season).  Right now, we dont have any PROVEN play makers at WR, but there's alot of talent there, they've just been backups
