I just spent a little bit of free time on this and I found some interesting data,  it's the county by county results for Columbia versus other counties in the state 

 

Now i wasn't sure where to place a few of the teams but if anyone knows which county they belong in let me know and I'll fix it (they are listed at the bottom of the document)

So Columbia is winless in international competition(Cuba):D.  How ya gonna spin that one fella?

Columbiafan has been trying to set up a rematch for years.  He is still fundraising.  He is hoping he has enough money for the rematch for his 80th birthday

Watch, he'll claim the game was protested because the Cubans set the cane field on fire to stop Columbia's game-winning drive.

Where did you find that at? The only record I had of Wauchula vs Lakeland was 1934 and Lakeland won something like that.  The prior year, 1933 Wauchula went undefeated (lost first game to Okeechobee but awarded a forfeit), and the AP writers wanted a bowl game between Wauchula and Lakeland but it didn't happen as both schools had already played in a bowl.

It's definitely tough 

 

Most of the early years our schedule is only listed of having 1-5 games varying year to year

How many complete yearly results do you have?

Can you send it to me? I will give you all I got for Hardee and I will create a temporary password for newspapers and you can look up anything you want for Wauchula and Hardee High
