Come on Pipe, you know Mainland's one of them. Since the Bucs dropped down in classification to match their enrollment (2011) instead of playing two classes above they've had at least one playoff win each year since:

2011- 3 wins, lost to Miami Central - State Champ (stripped).

2012- 2  wins, lost to Naples

2013- 3 wins, lost to Miami Central- State Champ

2014- 3 wins, lost to Miami Central- State Champ

2015- 2 wins, lost to Miami Central- State Champ

2016- 2 wins, lost to Miami Carol Cty- State Champ

2017- 1 win,  lost to Miami Carol Cty

DP finally wins Championship (2017) and beats Mainland.  PipeDreams forgets a$$ whippings in '15, '16.....selective memory :)

...one of the teams on the list has a special connection to Mainland, Dan...hint, hint:)

Naples?

Yes!  IMO, Mainland, Naples and Columbus do not get as much credit as they deserve. Though they have not brought home a lot of state titles between them, they are rock solid, consistent programs that always seem to be competitive.

With the exception of Dr Phillips(and Rodney Wells is well on his way), all of the teams below had the benefit of a coach who spent about 15 years or more building a foundation.

Central FL-Armwood(Sean Callahan), Mainland(John Maronto), Dr Phillips and Plant(Robert Weiner)

South FL-St Thomas Aquinas(George Smith), Columbus(Chris Merritt) and Naples(William Kramer)

Also, for the record... DP has won a playoff game every year since 2006....

26-11 in the playoffs over a 12 year period!

-

Title game - 2010, 2016, 2017

Final four - 2012

Quarterfinals - 2014, 2015

-

The national “experts”, none of which put DP in the preseason top 100, have a nice surprise coming for them this year.

This would be a cool thing to see, how long of streaks do some schools have of at least winning 1 playoffs game a year.

I believe these are the only schools with at least one playoff win each of the past 8 seasons.  The numbers below represent the number of consecutive seasons the team has won at least one playoff game.

Aquinas-22

Armwood-18 (including the forfeits)

Dr Phillips-12

Plant-12

Cocoa-11

Naples-8

**Bolles' streak of 24 was broken this past season.

What are the dashed numbers? If they are wins, Cocoa has 22 since 2010.
