STA @ Bishop Gorman

Tonight STA travels to Las Vegas to take on the number 1 team in the nation. From what I can gather Gorman has pretty well destroyed every team they have played including John Bosco. Does STA have much of a chance in this one?   

 

It will be on ESPNU live at 10 PM tonight (Friday), 7 PM start in Las Vegas.

I give them a good chance, but Bishop Gorman opened as 17 point favorites in this one.

I think STA can win this game they just have to withstand that furious 2nd half that Gorman has been killing teams with all year, the 1st half the Gaels just seem to be not be that good to be the #1 team in the nation. Then the 2nd half they come out and show why they're and explode on teams

Agree.  STA would probably need to be up or within 10 at halftime to have a shot in this one.

What you shakin. Ya head 4? They need they behind beat show them how it feel when they do it to other people by a team who do exactly what they do RECRUIT.!! this isn't a true underdog Cinderella type game STA needs to & will be humbled I hope and I will ENJOY every minute of it.

Do not feel confident about it, but I believe Bishop Gorman wins a close one.  A certain aspect of STA's team are of concern for me in this one.....  I just hope STA can establish the run and they should be fine.

The problem with evaluation on kickoff classics is different teams treat it differently

 

Some use it as a 4 quarter test and some use it as a jamboree then play jv in second haft

On that note Handicapper... What's your opinion on the 3 man front STA ran with against BTW?  Seems like it's been what I've been seeing STA run lately.

limit the big plays, I know that's easier said then done but if STA can keep them from constantly making big plays I think they will be alright, also Jake Allen is going to have to make some key throws for STA to pull this one out
