I think you have dropped Central too far down.

Tbh honest with you take away all the mystique and hoop & holler away from central and what they’re known for and I would say I have them right where they should be. And you know I always respect your expertise when it comes to high school football.

but let’s call it what it is. when it comes to Miami central THIS YEAR. They have severely underperformed. They’re (3-3) & Not only that You come into this season with over 40 new transfers from in state & out added to an already national ranked team. You come in with national title hopes & not only do you call yourself the KING OF FLORIDA , but also the “BEST iN THE NATION”.

& what do you do you follow that up with a 13-6 win over a team that wasn’t even ranked top 100 Florida.

then you proceed to go (0-3) in ALL of your MUST see games. CM,BG,Miami norland.

You then struggled to Beat a solid BTW team. Then you struggled to beat a (2-6) MNW team. Yes I’m from south Florida so I understand the “records go out the window” with true rival games.

but if both teams are hyped & one team “SUPPOSED” to have a vastly better roster then when the dust settles the game shouldn’t even be close. All year we’ve had excuses for each of their loses because of who they’re and believing that like always they’re just gonna flip the switch. Well they’re already 3 loses in, when is the flip suppose to switch ??

No doubt Central is not living up to its hype. For that, I don't blame the kids on the field. I think some of the problems stem from the fact that the coaching staff has dropped the ball to some extent. I believe that if they make an effort to right the ship, Central may still win 2M. Will this happen? To be honest I am not sure.

They’re very well still capable of doing that but that doesn’t mean the problems that they’re showing now no longer exists, it just means that their team is just so high powered and who they have to go through in 2M is not even callable of playing with them for 4 full quarters, unless it’s norland or btw. Other than central talent alone is gonna get it done for them. But against a team just as good tho same problems is gonna rear it’s ugly head everytime

And I will say it’s 40% kids 60% coaching I’ve seen 3 central games this year & they’re not giving their 100% effort out there it’s so many plays where I’ve seen half effort is crazy.

it’s like they just walk on the field and expect to do bear minimum & expect to win just because their central. You can’t coach effort or heart you either love the game or you don’t. & as far as the coaches I blame them because when you notice that you suppose to sit those kids on the bench or get them off your roster.

Central hasn't lived up to hype so far but I think they're a little far down. Also, I would probably have Dillard ahead of Gibbons at this stage. Not a bad list at all, though.

See the thing is you seem to only only central to this standard which kind of messes with your ranking. How it BTW higher than heritage & central isnt? you think heritage or sta can beat central deep down in your heart?

With the way central is playing right now I do believe American heritage & sta can beat them.

with all that star power central has on that team central is playing like just some regular old team who just wasn’t coming into the season with legit national title possibilities a few weeks ago. And for them to be 3-3 that’s insanely horrible for this central team.

dillard with losing over 30 transfers and a head coach and a dc & OC lost to 3 solid teams & have been severely punished for it “ranking wise” central shouldn’t be no exception because of this was anybody else at 3-3 with these same loses they would be out the top 25 and probably lower half top 15.

And I don’t just hold central to this cuz when the west started stinking up the joint and not holding up to their preseason hype the dropped in the rankings til they dropped out.

same as homestead b4 their signature win over Columbus.

I did it to sta when they lost & when they should’ve lost to cocoa.

Same with Dillard. Just a few weeks ago Dillard wasn’t even in my south Florida top 15 & u know ima die hard, so nahh famo I’m most def fair.

You might be right, but MC might peak during the playoffs and that's what counts, DarterBlue2 is from a school that does that very often play with little emotion in the regular season but end up the top dog in the playoffs, with that being said, MC would beat your team by 50 lol.......

Bro they lost to three top 15 teams in the country, All the start power is a bunch of freshman, sophs & juniors. But hey its your rankings & I respect the opinion.

& With all due respect dillard got punished in who’s rankings? Yall weren’t in anything meaningful

Fun fact, Carol City beat Lakeland and Miami Central in the same season, that prevented MC from becoming a five peat Champ in their first bid....this year Minami Central is going for a five peat but Norland just beat Lakeland and MC as of now,.....will history repeat itself????

Great recount there. It’ll be crazy to see given they feed from the same area. Playoff time will be fun.

Part of the reason for that is the number of transfers in. The downside to heavily recruited kids is that they have no allegiance to the program. Take you, you are many years removed from Dillard, but you still bleed Panther Blue. That's because you probably spent your entire four years of high school there. Take a kid that's spent his football career at two or three different high schools: I will bet you that 5-10 years removed from the school he graduated from, there is no passion for the school he graduated from. I believe that the same applies to that kid now who's playing at his second or third high school. It's hard to instill the level of love and dedication to the program he would have if his dad and uncle played for the program before he did. Just saying ...

Miami norland was not top 15 in the country b4 this season started nor were they even top 50 nationally b4 this season started they built themselves up nationally throughout this season. & even then that national ranking didn’t sky rocket until they beat central this past weekend.

the point in what your missing Brodie is that they “LOST” if this was any other team not from dade you would be saying “THEM BOYS JUST WASNT LIKE THAT” but because we’re discussing a team from dade you’re gonna ride for the crib & that’s cool.

but you can’t argue against the numbers …

when central only beat #105 ranked vanguard in the KOC 13-6 the excuse was “they didn’t take the game serious” , “The OC wasn’t there” , they’ll be ready for GORMAN , that’s the revenge game.

What happen in that game they lost

what was the excuse oh it was on the coaches etc etc

the chaminade game: central was all at the AHP chaminade game saying oh they let heritage hang around we gone put 50 on them people…

chaminade beat ‘em.

was all on the section 104 thread when booker t played norland , talkin bout how norland was struggling with booker t & how norland was gone get exposed the following week.

Norland beat ‘em

see the trend ? It’s been a lot of trash talk & excuses being made for the roc boys off 95th st when the reality could very well be the rockets are just not who everyone predicted they to be once the season start which is one of the GREATEST FOOTBALL TEAMS ASSEMBLED of all time.

That's the key, Cent is a young team with impactful players, if they can pull off the five peat this year, expect MC to stay at the top

They can & very well 5 Pete but I think that’s what you’re missing. This year was BIGGER than just a 5 Pete. This year was about a NATTY. Which is why the re rioted the way they did & legit got over 40 transfers in.

being a 2M state champ is easy for central because there hasn’t been much stat stutter teams in 2M that could hang with central for 4 quarters.

this year was about can central finally capture that mythical national championship.
