Much to the dismay of many posters to this message board, and like my role model, the great 45th and 47th President Donald Trump, great men cannot be kept down! After a year of inactivity, I have decided that the many posters to this message board, even though most do not deserve it, will receive the honor and privilege or my brilliance, logic, reason, and overall great knowledge of high school officiating! I have educated, informed, taught lessons, and inspired many, and the like the great American and inspiration, President Donald Trump, I will not be denied! I don't care what any poster has to say, and I will hold any poster accountable on the subject of high school officiating. You're welcome, and the honor and privilege is all yours!

Do you understand how much you come over as a total a^^ hole?

Perhaps you get some kind of grotesque high off of being like that. I cannot help you as I am not a medic.

Needless to say, this is my first and last response to anything you may post for the remaining time I post on this message board.

Thank you for another great compliment DarterBlue2! I know how much that you have learned from my brilliance, logic, reason, and overall knowledge. You're welcome for that, and I know that you missed me while I was gone.

What was this even about

Many posters to this message board hate me with a passion and wish that I was physically harmed because I have patiently tried to explain how high school officiating works, and what high school officials are looking for and tasked with providing during a game. Also, I do not share the same political beliefs as the majority of posters to this message board (even though the majority of Americans share my beliefs as was proven on November 5th), so they have gotten me banned for a while, and try to run me off by insulting me (which I consider a compliment) and questioning my very existence. I am the most hated poster to the FloridaHSFootball message board!

YET being the operative word.  If you stick to X's and O's, rules and regs, scores, team rankings, etc. without the over-the-top rhetoric that sounds like talking down to people you might find a little more sympathy.  In particular, stop leaning into political discussions as this is clearly not what this site is about (Yes, I know others can't help themselves either) and you can be another perspective to this forum which is what it should be about.  Lastly, if you choose not to please don't blame others for getting you banned as you have only done it to yourself.  Hope you decide to participate in a meaningful way.

That is NOT going to happen with me. I do not need or want anyone's sympathy, and I just noticed our great Governor criticized recently on this message board, so I am not the only person discussing politics on this message board. No one is going to tell me what I can and can't say on this message board. The only thing that can happen to me would be that I could be banned, which is possible with the hypocritical "standards and rules" established on the message board.

    • For clarity, it appears that Northwestern, not the FHSAA, administered the suspension.  Not sure that does, or does not, render the arguments here moot, but one could argue that the school is trying to get out ahead of this.
    • Given the rules, the suspension seems reasonable. But, as others have suggested, the rules can easily be said to be absurd. Since when, in America, is the voluntary gifting of items or services a bad thing? Are we going to start infiltrating Christmas celebrations to see if anyone got presents deemed to be bad? "Have a look at what's under the Christams tree, there might be some Uber gift cards or other things and we can't have anyone giving those out!" If Teddy Bridgewater is OK paying for some uber rides etc, why is that a bad thing? Sure, it gives MNW an advantage in attracting players. So what? Maybe it'll be a waste of his money. Again, so what? There does need to be more robust conversations around all of this. Yes, the rules should be the same for everyone. Yes, if they aren't the same, and/or some break them while many others don't, that is unfair. But, what, in all seriousness, is the case against allowing free adults to give gifts to poor kids who happen to be good at sports? The only argument I've heard is that it's against the rules. I'm not seeing anyone argue the rule itself makes sense in a free society.
    • Nolebull is ordering his "Free Teddy B" shirt right now
    • Looks like the FHSAA has agreed with Perspective rather than NoleBull and has chosen to suspend HC Bridgewater while they investigate these impermissible benefits given to players.  Why have rules if you aren't going to enforce them and if you don't like them then work to have them changed.
    • If it’s for something reasonable like a Gatorade and water donation & they reach out to the community of course I will help.    it’s all within reason tho. 14,000 for a 3 day gym stay is unreasonable. 2,000 a week for food. Me & a few alumni would just get together and cook.
