Lake Gibson 32?  they lost to Palmetto that you don't have ranked.  you really need to re-look at your rankings if you are going to post them and have credibility.  I appreciate your effort but you need to put more time into them. I will try and go through each team tomorrow

palmetto is ranked

same reason he has Columbia over Madison.  He likes that team better.

Columbia is over Madison because they beat the previous #10 and defending 4 time state champs by 10

we live in the now not 2 weeks ago

and Madison barley escaped Dunnellon

if we went further then we would say carol city should be behind Deerfield beach

in fact they been ranked every week since they beat lake Gibson if I remember correctly, problem is that they started season unranked and lake Gibson started in top 20

every poll has teams starting low and they usually have trouble getting really high in rankings as a result

you have them both as 8A which is why I missed them.  The Palmetto Lake Gibson lost too is 7A.  You have them 84 and LG 32

oh my bad, I thought when I looked them up I found them listed as 8a, I must have wrote them down as 8a in my notes

also means I need to fix the class rankings

bc as I stated above lake Gibson started just outside top 10 while palmetto started unranked, its hard to jump high from being unranked this early until you get in playoffs and start outlasting the teams ranked above you, these rankings will probably end up finishing much better then they will be during the season simply because I struggle to drop teams coming off of wins and I'm not sure how far to drop teams after losses if they are in the top teir of the rankings

and if you live in today what does Trinity Christian being 4 time champs matter haha.  They have lost 3 times this year since you like to count KOC

4 time champ means credibility

and yes they did lose koc and opening week against cocoa then won every game since until last week

however in my rankings from preseason I didn't count the kickoff classics in the rankings because I didn't want to figure out how every team in the state treated it so I waited until after week 1 before doing rankings and cocoa was top 10 team so trinity didn't drop far from that loss so they stayed ranked high until losing this past week

    • The biggest problem at public schools right now is 2 things. One, they are hiring radicals who are more interested in indoctrinating kids with extreme ideologies rather teaching them basic fundamental skills to become well rounded adults. And 2, they are not getting rid of the worst students who take from the kids who want to learn. If kids skip school they should be expelled. Drugs. Expelled. Fights. Expelled. They can stay home and do E-learning. But these public schools keep, and sometimes cover up crimes and poor behavior. Get rid of the kids who don’t want to learn. You gotta tighten the ship
    • Better to have some kids thrive, then none. Every kid who goes to a private school and thrives is a net benefit to society. Plus your scenario assumes that the private schools don’t already have great teachers taking up all spots available
    • I’m glad those recruiting rules don’t apply to Broward & Dade county…….
    • Or the private schools will use their combination of private money and public money (i.e., vouchers) to hire away the best teachers, leaving the rest at the public schools to teach those who don't have the resources -- even with the vouchers -- to send their kids to private schools.  Of course, if this happens, there might be a few folks who will brag that it all worked out the way it was planned.
    • Yeah, if you're in a in a program that has accountability and structure the season never really ends. January to August is when you win championships. I just hope the fans understand and respect that. The coaches should be paid accordingly for the time, effort and sacrifice they put in for the school and football program. Oh, and that 100 degree heat aint no joke for the players, trainers and coaches.
