12 different players with offers

2 receivers with double digit offers

59 total offers among players

Might be most overall talented team to ever play in Columbia history and more offers will be coming

Not to mention we may get a few transfers over the summer

Season looking bright for Lake City Columbia

Also I'll put up hudl highlights for each player later on

So with all of this talent at and coming to Columbia this summer, anything less than a trip to Orlando would be a disappointment?...

I consider all seasons we fail to get to Orlando a disappointment

I don't feel that we should be losing in the playoffs to the teams we have lost to recently, it's not like we are playing nationally elite teams,  every loss in the playoffs as of late were to teams we should have been able to beat

Plus with this school year having all 4 major sports make playoffs and all 4 lose in 1st round I feel the pressure is mounting for us to take advantage of this talent and make a deep run,  we can't rely on softball to make all the deep runs at Columbia, these other sports got to pick up the pace

Going a entire year with no playoff wins is not acceptable for this program, we expect and demand the best

This school as a hole is starved for a trip to states and we need to get back to show we still have what it takes to hang with the best, columbia is probably one of the most desperate programs in the state because we need a deep run to redeem our past failures and being out of the title game for 21 years only intensifies the pressure by the day

What division and where is Webber International?

NAIA in Babson Park (Lake Wales FL)  I was going to say something about this earlier but I let it slide.  Getting an offer from Webber is like getting an offer from Suwannee.  Every starter on Columbia would have an offer from Webber.  The problem is not many can afford it because they give you a combination of financial aid and need.  Not much football money involved.

Playing at next level and getting a education is still both there

Can't be picky about the offers when they will only get so many

I've always had a lot of respect for the football program at Columbia High but CHS has been disappointing for a number of years now. They should be an annual contender.

No kidding

The talent that comes out of Columbia is bar none with any team in this area,  that is obvious when we see how many play at the college and pro level

We keep losing to teams in the playoffs we should be beating

I wouldn't really call Webber an offer.  You can get an offer from Webber. I'm not trying to bash Webber because I have a lot of respect for what they do there but they will take any one with a pulse that can afford to pay to go there and trust me you will be paying something.  I'm shocked someone has an offer from them because usually they wait and see what is left for them to go after.   He will get more.

He would have a lot more if he was like 6'2-6'4

That's only reason he doesn't have more

Grades are high so it's height that hurting him

Obviously, he forgets the 2009 year of
Seniors
RB Tiger Powell (USF),
WR Jamaal Montague (USF),
LB Brach Bessant (Troy),

Juniors
Timmy Jernigan (FSU)
Devonte Bell (LaGrange)

Sophomore
Dequan Ivory (Miami)

Freshman
Laremy Tunsil (Ole Miss),

That team was very talented as well

Could also look at 2012 team (laremy's senior year)

Of course not everyone on that team had offers that season even though they would get offers eventually

2012 team had 3 running backs who could have been d1 players (pure talent wise)  but all had knocks on them

Braxton Stockton (injured his eye late in year and ended career)

Lawrence Timmons (grades)

Lonnie Underwood (undersized but eventually signed with Tennessee Martin)

Other players who had eventual offers on that roster

QB Jayce Barber (Jacksonville State)

OT  Laremy Tunsil (Ole Miss)

S Trey Marshall  (FSU)

WR  Alex Weber (Ole Miss)

S Zedrick Woods (Ole Miss)

WR  Latrell Williams (Tennessee)

WR Mike Williams (Nebraska)

CB Roger Cray  (Western Kentucky)

OL Derontae Crumitte (Troy)
