Over 80 teams have been waiting 20 or more years to get back to a state title game.  Here they are.  The number of years since they last appeared in a title game is listed after each team.  Jacksonville Lee has been waiting the longest.  They played in the 1964 2A final.

Many on this list will just continue to age (as they will never see the state title game again or at least in my life time I am sure.,

I do think that Columbia, Vanguard, Jesuit, and possibly Lee have promise of at least getting to the title game but maybe not winning it.

If Jesuit was to get to the finals they would most likely win it.

Depends on the year... some of those years they would have ran up against American Heritage Plantation super team.

For the last several years its been either Jesuit or Immokalee to come out of region 3, only to lose to the region 4 team that goes on to win the state title.  That's why I say, if Jesuit was to get to state they would most likely win it.
