What about that extra time out pk got the second half could have won/lost the game too? The ref was bad all game not just against pk the NFL didn’t loan them

An alleged 4th timeout, after MC scored to go up (36-37) is the same as a non-holding call on the go ahead touchdown? We lost, but those aren’t close.

Just as Bolles wouldn't be in finals right now if they had to go through that 4a South gauntlet that BTW just survived

That's right thanks, that guy gonna see blountstown get on the bus early to leave

Aww wasn’t much there maybe if he’d been more aggressive going for the tackle.  But Pahokee was doing a lot of holding pass interferences but it was a great game  and my cowboys won so on to Tallahassee!

MC only threw 4 passes all night. 1 was a TD on the first drive. 1 was the TD on the screen and the other 2 were incomplete.

I noticed that when they played us

Madison isn't that good a passing team so they do what they are good at, pound the rock

They threw it 12 times

Only 2 were deep passes, the rest were screens. The TD and incompletion in the end zone may be the only passes that travels farther than 10 yards in the air.

Did we watch the same game?

Rewatched the game. MC threw 3 passes that traveled farther than 10 yards in the air. One was a TD on the first possession, one was after the bad punt before the half (incomplete) and the other was on a slant and go (incomplete) where the WR was open but the QB overthrew him. Everything else was screens and running plays.

Outside of MC, I don’t really know about north Fla football. What I saw on film, is they run the option, and if that’s all they do. I think you guys will win, because you know how to stop the run, because that’s 90% of your offense.
You have to have balance to beat you guys, because your defense practices against the option in practice. I was surprised how we ran the ball against your defense, because we’ve struggled all year, but maybe it had to do with our formations and the threat of the pass.

BTown runs an offense like Chiefland and Baker. I don’t know if their d-line is gonna hold up to the physical offense you guys bring

They won't did you see that video. They undersized.

It's no different than saying MNW vs Central was the true 6a finals last year or Cardinal Gibbons vs AHP was state finals in 5a last 2 years

Blountstown isn't a horrible team but after how Pahokee played Madison last night I don't think Blountstown could beat Pahokee

Beating Madison is a much tougher challenge than beating Baker

I was referring to his calling an undefeated team in the championship game trash. Pahokee hypothetically defeating Blountstown at this stage is meaningless. If Pahokee was so much better why aren't they in the championship game instead of complaining about how unfairly they were treated by the refs and then bashing Blountstown to boot. Jeez.

You gonna see , Madison by 55, how bout you watch film on blountstown. They 13-0 because a soft schedule, Baker was last year, got beat 48-6.

Who from PK bashed B-town?

We’ve had about 6 b-ball coaches in the last 8 seasons. Kids don’t see the success in basketball like they do in football, so they’re going to football. We don’t have our youth travel teams that identified and developed basketball players at the younger ages. Football and Track get the most support now.

My junior year 98 was the last PK b-ball team to make it to Lakeland and we lost to FSU High.

In the last 20 years we have a former NBA (currently overseas) player. Zabian Dowdell (Suns/Va Tech) and 1 WNBA player. Riquina Williams (LA Sparks/UM). PK also has Palm Beach Counties all-time scoring leaders R. Williams (girls) and Antonio Wilson (boys) who went to play LB at Wake Forest

    • Some kids NEED to transfer to get in the best position to change the trajectory of their entire life. Could literally save their life. Difference between going to college and being stuck in your neighborhood getting lost to streets.    And I can only speak for myself, but I’m more interested in a at-risk kid changing his situation for the better in hopes of saving his life than your favorite high school team losing a game because he transferred from your favorite school.
    • I wouldn’t be so critical of the FHSAA if they didn’t lie and say they give 2 craps about student athletes. I wish people would just be honest. But I guess if they were honest, it would mess up their hustle.
    • Wait are you saying there is a rule that bars an adult mentor who coaches young men a sport from helping a struggling student athlete and his family with transportation? Whoa that’s next level crazy.    “Hey coach I’m on the side of the road and almost got hit. I’m miles from school and it’s 110 degrees out. Can you get me a ride?” ”Sorry. Some turds 6 hours away in Gainesville said I can’t. Hope you don’t get hit or pass out.”
    • Say what you want, justify it however you want, wish the rules weren't what they are, but there is no question that a coach or other school representative paying for Uber rides for kids playing sports is a violation of the existing FHSAA rules.  Period.  And Teddy Bridgewater may be or have been an elite athlete, may be or become an excellent high school football coach, and/or may have his heart in the right place, but tweeting out a message to the world that you have done something that undoubtedly constitutes a violation of the rules is just plain stupid.
    • Officially 13 left First Baptist.  Golden Gate, even after the return of Coach Bigica, lost 6 to other schools. The two biggest gainers were St John Neumann (11) and Community School (9)
