Head to head I would lean Central. Paper roster and what they are going to do to teams on their schedule Armwood could "appear" to be more loaded and likely to demolish anything in their path. Sometimes outsiders evaluating a national scope do not have the ability to look as deep as geeks like us who know more history and details of what is right in front of us (Florida teams).

The general word on the street is Armwood currently has one of their most loaded teams ever coming off of a team that was a top 100 team last year. I could surely find other teams not worty of their ranking other than Armwood.

Xavierian Brothers out of MA at #46 is comical. I used to live up there and have seen the football. That Xavierian team would be lucky to go .500 in 8A Broward County. Seriously. The speed of the game is much slower, almost all teams use Fullbacks up there, and their football season including weights is about 4-5 months versus 10 months here. You practice for 1-2 months here to get ready for football, you are in big trouble.

The realist in me sees Armwood, Lakeland, Columbus, MNW, Oxbridge, Boyd Anderson, Navarre, Trenton, Flanagan and Venice all higher than they should be

Being located in miami-dade county does not automatically make you more talented. Armwood has more FBS prospects then CC and MNW as well as a QB and coaching unlike those two (CC lost buckshot)

 

Mainland's cupboard is pretty bare and will field easily their least talented team in a few years, whereas the opposite is true for Armwood who will be fielding easily their most talented team since their 2011 state championship team
