Florida HS Football getting an early start with the first football game to be played in the state of Florida today, Thursday, as Colonial will challenge Monarch (CO) at noon at Disney WWOS. 

 

This is going to be a fantastic season for sure!

Do you know where and when  the McArthur/Columbine (CO) game is being played?

McArthur is playing Ralston Valley and that game is being played at Key West High's stadium tonight. 

 

Columbine is playing Palm Bay.

Interesting....I believe Disney is the sponsoring the weekend intrastate event.  I wonder how the McArthur/Ralston Valley game landed in Key West which is I believe 6+ hours from Orlando?  I would imagine Key West High School is getting a nice check from Mickey for hosting that one.

Palm Bay vs Columbine should be one of the better games at Disney IMHO. Just hope the reffing is even. Some of the OOS teams that come to Disney seem to get an edge in the breaks. Not much where it is blatant, but just enough to give the OOS team a little push, like flags come out just a little faster for the Florida teams. Just my opinion.
