I just hope the wind stays down (below 50MPH) and the storm surge is not as bad as they are predicting. Rain prediction for Trenton and surrounding area is about 10 inches

We had a 50 mph gust on Monday practice, it pushed some trashcans like 40 yards like a rolling log lol

I would assume most Thursday games (JV & Varsity) from central Florida to north Florida will be washed out. Friday night games will probably depend on the amount of rain that falls and whether the fields drain well or not. One of the good things about Bryant Stadium having the artificial turf. It drains well and no mud.

Tiger stadium has a good drain and we also are on high ground so as long as its not thunderstorms during game we will be able to play but I think our jv game @Suwannee will end up being cancelled

Live oak has flooded before and being close to river and being below ground means it could get field flooded out and jv game being Thursday won't help odds of game being played

I've seen on Twitter that numerous school districts across Florida have cancelled classes for Thursday and are closely monitoring the weather for Friday. 

 

We're going to be in for a rough one this weekend, but thankfully, it doesn't appear to be as bad as it easily could be.

Im following the storm on a weather blog and they are expecting a cat 1 hurricane

Looks like it gonna hit mostly in the panhandle and big bend region

Looking at my interactive weather map it would seem that all games in Florida, from West Palm Beach north, will be cancelled for Friday. Can't see any team wanting to play in the weather that's coming in from the Gulf.

Heard rumors that Columbia may look into scheduling a 10th game in place of bye week so that is week 6, if anyone knows of a team free that week let me know and I'll try passing the word around and seeing what happens

Marion schools closed tomorrow and Manatee County to decide around 8 PM tonight, likely no football in these counties

I just saw the Ocala Trinity vs Jesuit game was cancelled for tomorrow. I haven't heard of a make-up date yet. Really unfortunate that OTC hasn't been able to get a game in yet.  Both teams have the same bye week on 10/21- they could reschedule for that week.
