State championship locations for 2024

Where will states for 1A-7A be held at this year? I’ve heard a lot about FIU but I was thinking about if they would maybe want to go back to camping world stadium in Orlando.

This topic gets a lot of attention on this board.   You can scroll back and see the discussions that have taken place. 

As for now, as I understand it, the only state championship site that has been announced is The Villages for the Rural classification.  The location of all the other state championship games in still "TBA."   (Because why would anyone need to know this before Thanksgiving?).

The Orlando area is obviously best from a statewide perspective. But, my understanding is none of the venues there want to host it. The FHSAA should try to reimagine what the championship weekend can look like, and try to build a more captivating and profitable event. Of course, that would require innovative, smart people. So, well, never mind.

Jacksonville is actually the most centrally located city in the state from Miami to Pensacola

To my knowledge, Tampa has never hosted or even shown interest.  St. Pete doesn't count.

Remember the FHSAA is married to an artificial turf stadium, so that eliminates some possible venues.

But if you consider where the population is centered, Jax is not central at all. And, Orlando has so many more family-oriented attractions, hotels etc.
