What coaches have, active or retired, have coached for at least 15 years, won more than 150 games, and never to win state?

4 that I can name:  Bob Martin, Sam Sarrianni Sr., Jim Powell, Charley Tate

Here are 16 more that I am pretty sure meet those criteria.  Am sure there are a few more.  Of all of these coaches, I believe Chris Merritt at Columbus is the only one who is still active.  For coaches who coached at more than 1 school, I listed the school where they spent the most time.

Danny Green-Baker

Rich Stuart -Belen

Ron Ream-Benjamin

Mickey Lindsey-Cantonment Pace

Sam Budnyk-Cardinal Newman

Billy Turner-Chamberlain

Chris Merritt-Columbus

Earl Garcia-Hillsborough

Rod Shafer-Lake Wales

Jim Kroll-Miami Palmetto

Bill Munsey-Pine Crest

Al Sutton-Riviera Beach Suncoast

Steve Hardin-Rutherford

John Sprague-Sarasota Riverview

Don Drinkhahn-South Dade

Inman Sherman-South Sumter

Phillip Yancey-Vanguard

Larry Gergley-Winter Park

Can't believe I couldn't think of Shafer and Billy Turner.

Charley Tate is still active.

Add to the list, Dominick Ciao, still active.

Shafer won 187 games in 19 seasons at Lake Wales..impressive

I hope I am wrong, but I am afraid that in the future it will be difficult to find many coaches with 150 wins at a single school.   Many listed above did just that.  It's a shame some younger coaches will not get to experience the satisfaction of building up a program like that.
