Yep he has it right GHS has 1 Buchholz has 1 and Sante fe 2. Was at Buchholz when we won over Dillard  that year belive it was 24-7. Tho I believe Bradford only has 2 not 4.

Yeah that's what i thought it was but wanted to be sure

And ik Bradford (starke)  has 2 to my knowledge but i don't remember any other team in that county winning a championship

Your right. I was looking at an article that had every Champ by County from 63-04. They had Titusville from Brevard mixed in with Bradford

Look at that list for public schools in Broward tho Sheesshhh!! I’m gonna start off by saying the fact that Deerfield name is nowhere on that list should automatically stop the powerhouse talk I don’t care how many transfers they get there a year they went undefeated in the regular season a few years back and still didn’t win it all including beating STA that year which STA went on to win the championship.

Mite safe to say that Broward County has no powerhouses in football public school wise we have a few avg teams and a plethora of below avgs but no powerhouses. After we won our championship in 89 it took 12 years.!! For another public to win it after that it took 7 years for another public to win it then after that it took another 7 years for a public to win it and after all of that Dillard high still leads Broward County public schools with 2 championships but haven’t won one since 89 ...really!!! If u ask me Broward County football as a whole  public school wise is AVG at best.

Broward - 6/25 state titles won by public schools

Dade - 34/37 state titles won by public schools (the privates who won were Pace 03, Champagnat 13, Champagnat 17)

The question that screams from the data below...Why did Dade public schools "take off" but Broward public schools did not?

Broward vs Dade Public School State Titles

1971-1980 Broward-1, Dade-2

1981-1990 Broward-2, Dade-0

1991-2000 Broward-0, Dade-6

2001-2010 Broward-2, Dade-7

2011-Present Broward 1, Dade-13

Less of an excuse today than in years past.  Deerfield Beach is 6-7 versus Broward schools in playoffs over the past 10 years.  Look at the schools who have knocked them out since 2004...only 1 Dade County school-Western, Atlantic, Flanagan, Miramar, Cypress Bay, Miramar, Plantation, Miramar, Northwestern, S Plantation, PB Gardens, PB Lakes.

Miramar was last knocked out of the playoffs by a Dade County school in 2008.

Now that I think about it Dillard didn’t start getting knocked out by mia schools until 2015 wen we took defending 5a champ norland to the brink at fiu north stadium we actually was up 14 twice in that game.

before then Dillard was a second round football team from like 2006-2008 If I’m not mistaking losing to nationally ranked st Thomas in the second round each time
