Private schools have won about 50% of the games(39 wins vs 36 losses) they have played against public schools in state finals.  Public schools actually had the edge until this decade.  As you'll see below, most of the well-known private school programs have been victims of at least one whoopin' of 21 points or more by a public school program in a state final or other playoff game.   Good job S1inglewing!

Lakeland not quite what they use to be. Manatee either.

Outside of a few loaded rosters (08,10,14,15,16) sta really isn't any different now then they were in late 90s and mid 00s

 

They have had talent for a while

 

 

What's changed is their competition has been weak for a while 

 

People try to prop up these powerhouses like they unbeatable but i don't see it, sta this year may be better than last year but they aren't 2015 or 2016 level, i think people are going to make a mountain out of a molehill but I don't see them winning state
