It is a very sad State of Affairs for Florida football right now. That list would have once been dominated by teams like Armwood, Plant, Manatee, Lincoln, Nease, st. Augustine, Pahokee, Glade Central, Miami Southridge, Miami Carol City, Miami Northwestern, Orlando Edgewater, Tampa Jefferson, etc. None of those teams can compete with IMG or STA, but now even the little pint-sized privates like Trinity Christian, Oxbridge, American Heritage, would destroy the best public school teams. It is a terrible State of Affairs in our once proud state.

Lincoln did beat TCA and so did cocoa, and who could forget Bolles getting stomped down by 3 public schools last year, heck even BTW beat STA

 

You get the drift, their are publics who can compete but every team go through cycles, we just have more then usual right now

This is a good list. The only team missing is Nicevile, who I think is better than Armwood this year and should be knocking on the top 10. I would, also, probably put Vero Beach in in place of either Jones or Pahokee and move a couple of the other teams around. But all in all, I think you did a very good job with this.

 

My list would have Niceville at 11, with Pahokee and Jones out for now, and VB at 25.

Vanguard is solid and has good chance to win 6a north this year

@DarterBlue2 But then what happens with Dwyer. See if you replace Dwyer with Niceville and take out Jones for Vero Beach where does Dwyer go.

They are undefeated. But the Marion County public schools have not been good for a long time. So I don't know. I would give them the benefit of the doubt for now, but would not be surprised if they get exposed later in the season or in the playoffs.

got to make major improvements on the offensive line to get that done, I think they can though, Armwood vs Vanguard in round 3 in seffner set it up
