It will be back to normal schedule next week 

back to normal? just like last year?  Look the hurricane is very important, I'm not trying to down play it.  The Bahama's need help.  However in Central Florida I got to mow the lawn today in some nice weather.  I even had time to update the pick em stats from last week.  I also listed some baseball cards on ebay.

I did a good job keeping track of standings and posting the games once they were sent but I was never allowed to select games so i had to wait for Josh to send me the games 

 

Then mid-season I was removed of my mod spot which limited any ability to pin or lock the game topic which only made doing it a task beyond my control

 

If your worried about games not being posted for next week, take it up with Joshua since he the one who manages the Pickems, not me

Let's not bash UCF. They beat everyone that would play them two years ago. The Power 5 will never invite a Group of 5 team to their "invitational" National Championship playoff. The NFL made that mistake in 1969 and the AFL Jets beat the mighty Colts; the merger wasn't far behind. It's all about TV money and the Power 5 would hate to see UCF get $40 million a year to invest in their football program. They'd rather give that money to the "jokes' in the bottom half of their conferences; teams that will never be competitive.

I can bash who I want.  They have a fake national championship.  That doesn't mean I don't like them or don't think they deserved a shot.  Go Knights

      The biggest problem at public schools right now is 2 things. One, they are hiring radicals who are more interested in indoctrinating kids with extreme ideologies rather teaching them basic fundamental skills to become well rounded adults. And 2, they are not getting rid of the worst students who take from the kids who want to learn. If kids skip school they should be expelled. Drugs. Expelled. Fights. Expelled. They can stay home and do E-learning. But these public schools keep, and sometimes cover up crimes and poor behavior. Get rid of the kids who don’t want to learn. You gotta tighten the ship

      Better to have some kids thrive, then none. Every kid who goes to a private school and thrives is a net benefit to society. Plus your scenario assumes that the private schools don’t already have great teachers taking up all spots available

      Or the private schools will use their combination of private money and public money (i.e., vouchers) to hire away the best teachers, leaving the rest at the public schools to teach those who don't have the resources -- even with the vouchers -- to send their kids to private schools.  Of course, if this happens, there might be a few folks who will brag that it all worked out the way it was planned.

      Yeah, if you're in a in a program that has accountability and structure the season never really ends. January to August is when you win championships. I just hope the fans understand and respect that. The coaches should be paid accordingly for the time, effort and sacrifice they put in for the school and football program. Oh, and that 100 degree heat aint no joke for the players, trainers and coaches.
