Thankyou for acknowledging that... As I got older and doing research and studying when I’m not doing anything useful lol, who were the real bad guys ? The Indians or the cowboys?

Could not resist more great "Grasshopper" fun.  I believe this is the first episode of Kung Fu in which the grasshopper is mentioned.

 

...if you think a blind man could not do that, watch this.  I have ties to the Presas family and believe me, this man could easily kill most people blindfolded in hand-to-hand combat.  Much respect to our grasshoppers on the board!

Had not been on since Plant kicked Viera's butt; and 1st thing I see is this thread! Omg,  my 6th grade students don't argue like this. Everyone have a great Holiday season and  look forward to next year.  First year in 9 I have no high school sons playing. I hope Viera and Osceola play next year (Badbird)!!!! My threads will becoming from Lafayette,La.,  Conway, S.C, or Croton, Conn. on Friday and Saturday nights. Merry Christmas to all

lol I could care less if they play.  I probably won't be at it.  Just think if Viera had played Osceola then oh nevermind.  Merry Christmas and enjoy watching your kids in college.

RIVALS AS A WHOLE has gone downhill. As many of you know I wrote for them and added guys to the database for years.

A major source of the problem was the Yahoo acquisition. 

Nobody can make decisions. 

You may notice that hudl and 247 have tons more prospects (especially sophomores and juniors) and Rivals is starting to ONLY add sophomores and juniors who are elite level. 

Rivals will be overtaken by 247. The name brand has gone down the tubes.

Thanks for the compliment Zoe, but I'm not all that. Just an old man who's seen a few things and has strong "opinions" on matters that concern or bother me. Best holiday wishes young Grasshopper :)

      Dang shame. Wonder what it was about. Wonder if the principle was meddling out of his element.    There was a story near me about Land O Lakes High. Before the season, 2 freshman were slap boxing and other kids were filming it. One kid was obviously winning over the other with the kids in the background cheering it on. So when it got leaked, it was interpreted as hazing. As if all the kids in the background were sanctioning it.    Without one second of investigation the principal shut the entire football program down. Varsity season cancelled over 2 freshman slap boxing. It caused a shit storm. Local news swarmed the school. Parents outraged. Protesting outside the office demanding the principal be fired.    They finally asked some quick questions and it was determined to be exactly what it was originally said it was. Football was reinstated but JV missed the first game over it.    The principal was some punk pencil neck who looks like he never played a sport in his life and many people came out and said he had it out for the football program and he was the same way at his old school.    I say all that to say is this a similar case of some pencil neck principal who never played sports trying to undermine and butt in to something that they are way out their element on?

      Word is, Coach Banks the former head coach was escorted off campus last week after a heated discussion with the principle. from what i have been told this stems from banks talking to the paper about the program.

      They definitely would have been competitive. They had a really good and really young OL coming back. They also had settled into a pattern of getting plenty of transfers.
