The parity of 6A...

Mainland would hold its own in South Florida. I am not sure about recent Armwood teams. The Armwood team of the early 2000s which won back to back titles beating BTW twice would have held its own. As for Cocoa, they would have to make major offensive adjustments, but if they did they might as the talent (but not the depth) is there.

Ill take Mainland and Cocoa, Not Armwood. Early 2000's Booker T. was a very young program. It was a High school only a few years at that time.

Armwood would hold their own.  Hillsborough County does not allow scheduling at the school level, the county AD schedules the entire county.  Unless someone comes knocking with a major game, then you can apply to play an out of county team.  Armwood would not run the table every year in south Florida, but they would win a lot of games.  They are not battle tested like the teams in south Florida.

I guess it would depend on who they schedule. There are a lot of teams in Dade and Broward that can beat Armwood.

@Zoe Boy So then what's the reason for them only having 8 games this season

But let's also not forget that Central has not had the best organization and structure the last few years. They scheduled a game late winter versus Flanagan and a couple months later had to pull out because of previous commitments with a north Florida team that they apparently forgot they had scheduled on that week.

A team of that national magnitude should have that kind of stuff run smoother. They should not be "looking" for games at the last minute. When was the last time you heard of a consistent top 25 nationally ranked team missing two games?

That's your opinion... I do t think nobody is scared to play Florida teams either....

You and Broward need to stop believing what people on that national board say, Florida is the best football state, the only one that compares is Texas and California who Texas is like 4-5 times size and California is like 3 times size
