Have only seen highlights and box score up thus far.  Will keep an eye out for it...

Kind of surprised Atlantic had more total yards. Was not necessary till the 4th qtr. IMO.  At the end of the day I don't think Atlantic was prepared for the atmosphere and big show like the well prepared and extremely hungry Dr. Phillips team.  ATL looked a little shell shocked to start the game and had 17 penalties overall... The Eagles did appear to find a better groove offensively in the second half but Dr. Phillips would not let this one get away.

Miami High blew their chances of winning the title.. Atlantic was what I thought they were and Dr Phillips offense was blah.. But those twins was banging for them... I still think Miami High would of beaten them tho...

For not going for a chip field goal before half. It threw a pick 6 that went for a 100 yds and giving up a kick off return... That’s how Miami High lost..

Man that game was dreadful to watch (on TV) and a cure for insomnia... the only highlight was the twins (on the field) and the twins (on the sideline in the way of the Atlantic Principal that the camera kept finding her either doing jumping jacks or talking sh*t to DP players LMAO). 

Now if you were a fan of DP this was the best ever... I do admire a great defensive effort and that is what we got but the penalties made the game drag.

Columbus could have beaten both. They shouldn't have lost to Miami High.

DP played a very vanilla game offensively, probably on purpose. They knew the D had it and would've opened up the playbook a bit more if they got in a hole. That was never needed as they were in control from the opening kickoff.

Lots of points were left on the board in the first half. 

Saying Columbus would've beaten both is a reach. They didn't make it to the game, and lost to the team that lost to the team that DP beat. If they "would've beaten" DP then they should have blown through the south. The results are the results.

Truth be told Orlando area 8A teams are as good or better then Miami area 8A teams;  but probably not as good as the top 6A/7A teams down there.

Once MNW, Central and Carol City played down due to declining enrollment numbers, it left the door open for Central Florida teams to have a realistic shot every year at the large class title. From one year to the next, it's a crap shoot as to which area has the best team. I am surprised that a Miramar or even a North Miami or North Miami Beach has not loaded up given the wide open status of 8A.
