Columbia vs Trinity Christian

Columbia played for the win on a 2pt conversion and fell inches short

Tough loss but if anyone thinks we are garbage we will rebound, we will redeem this and we won't back down

Still a long season and we will fight our ass off

This loss doesn't end our drive to the goal that matters

Undefeated and being number 1 in FL was never our goal,  winning district and getting to Orlando is and this loss doesn't prevent that from happening

Trinity wins 31 to 30!! Trinity is a team full of sophomores and juniors but the young boys pulled it out in a tough one tonight.

pround of them boy.

#TCAPRIADE

Trinity earned the win, i felt we made a lot of self inflicted mistakes but so did Trinity

Hope they keep them on the schedule next year

You all earned the win and i think we will take that loss and use it to step up in second half of season

Reason for going for 2 and not the kick?

He did send kicker out but after Trinity jumped twice and put ball at half yard line we decided to go for the win

Can't play conservative, sometimes you got to put all chips in the center and go all in

We did and lost, nothing to be ashamed of and we make it next time we in same situation when the game matters more than a week 6 regular season game

#FakeNews... who said you were garbage? Seriously? I guess you gotta find a way to motivate yourself each week.

You are right that the loss doesn't stop the team from reaching its goal. ::::But allow me to get on my soapbox for a moment:::: neither did the system that existed before the playoff points. At no point, did the old system stop a team like Columbia from scheduling Bolles or Trinity Christian or Madison County. The old system would have allowed you to lose and still move on.

Wasn't talking about the playoff/point system

My point was that this loss doesn't define us and our season is not over by a 1 point loss in week 6, we will be better for this loss and we will rebound

We did lose and we are moving on

One loss won't define this team,  we still can clinch a district championship and likely top seed in region with a win over Atlantic Coast and Fletcher

Being undefeated has never been a goal at Columbia, winning a title is

In fact only 2 of the 8 state champions last year were undefeated

1a Madison County and 5a AHP

2a champs Champagnat lost oos

3a champs Chaminade lost few in state games

4a champs Raines lost to Lee

6a champs Miami Northwestern lost to IMG and Norland

7a champs Venice lost to IMG

8a champs Dr Phillips lost to someone (i think apopka or wekiva)

    • The biggest problem at public schools right now is 2 things. One, they are hiring radicals who are more interested in indoctrinating kids with extreme ideologies rather teaching them basic fundamental skills to become well rounded adults. And 2, they are not getting rid of the worst students who take from the kids who want to learn. If kids skip school they should be expelled. Drugs. Expelled. Fights. Expelled. They can stay home and do E-learning. But these public schools keep, and sometimes cover up crimes and poor behavior. Get rid of the kids who don’t want to learn. You gotta tighten the ship
    • Better to have some kids thrive, then none. Every kid who goes to a private school and thrives is a net benefit to society. Plus your scenario assumes that the private schools don’t already have great teachers taking up all spots available
    • I’m glad those recruiting rules don’t apply to Broward & Dade county…….
    • Or the private schools will use their combination of private money and public money (i.e., vouchers) to hire away the best teachers, leaving the rest at the public schools to teach those who don't have the resources -- even with the vouchers -- to send their kids to private schools.  Of course, if this happens, there might be a few folks who will brag that it all worked out the way it was planned.
    • Yeah, if you're in a in a program that has accountability and structure the season never really ends. January to August is when you win championships. I just hope the fans understand and respect that. The coaches should be paid accordingly for the time, effort and sacrifice they put in for the school and football program. Oh, and that 100 degree heat aint no joke for the players, trainers and coaches.
